Saw (and heard!) this coming in to land at Heraklion on Tuesday evening then the only seat in the departure lounge was right beside it so I grabbed a sneaky shot (no photography allowed - it's a military airfield as well as a civilian one). No crit needed - it's wonky and a phone shot!

Flight Radar 24 said it's a DC3 but further research suggests it's a C-47, first delivered to the USAF 26/8/1944.

Looks like its had an engine upgrade to turboprop. 80-years and still in service, very impressive.
