Excellent photo, I was thinking of going there on Saturday just gone as I thought it may be overflowing. I saw the same scenario back at the start of the year and it is very surreal when you are stood down on the ground near to the fence just on the right of your photo.

LOL, it's a tad noisy. You can hear the roaring from about 1/4 mile away. It's impressive when you're stood at the base

I don't mind standing at the base of the dam and watching the water - its the overflowing "plugholes" at Ladybower I can't go near - they freak me out . . . .
