Derwent sunset

Hi,

I am newish to long exposure stuff. The boat on the left is slightly out of focus and obviously had movement during the exposure. I also took a quick still image (where the boat is still and sharp), is there anything I can do to make the boat look as sharp as the rest of the image?

If both images are from exactly the same point (on a tripod) so there is no movement you could use a layer mask in photoshop.

A very pleasing photograph, slightly on the wonk, maybe.

Would also work closer to one of the boats.

I like the motion blur on the boat.

Yes, I really like it, very tastefully processed too. The motion blur on the boat does not bother me. Only point, I wonder if there was a composition that excluded the metal fencing on the right, (but kept the posts) and added the prow of the boat on the bottom left?
