Not too difficult to work it if you don't recognise it...

They were first made in the 1920's but as recently as the 1960's - though I have no idea how old this vintage item actually is...

I do. They are still in production. Examples at Amazon UK.

Yeah of course it is. But the modern ones look much smarter, and of course have no decades old rust!

I’d guess that’s from the 50s or 60s. Skyline was the budget part of the Prestige brand of kitchen tools (can you tell I used to work in an ironmongery shop? )
