I have been told this is a drone fly,it only stayed for a few minutes before it flew off.
Canon 100mm Macro, Canon EF15 Extension Tube, Manual Mode, f14, 1/125 iso800 with the ring flash

Good shots, particularly the first one. Its a drone fly, don't know which one, could be Eristalis tenax.

Im fairly new to macro work, i notice you have a macro lens but also use a Canon EPF15 Extension Tube? Wht is this, I thought the macro lens would be sufficient or am i missing something? :)
 
Sorry i should have written EF12, i have edited my post. Using it you can increase the magnification of a lens simply by moving it further from the camera
 
Eristalis.sp Definatly but cant go further than that.
1st shot is really nice and the detail is good too.
