Duke of Portland Boathouse - 4 days apart

Impressive to see the change in light plus the mist over the water. I also prefer the composition of the second shot. Great work !
 
Two very different interpretations of the same scene and both work really well. If I'm being picky the tall reeds at the bottom of the second look a bit messy but if it's drama you want then top marks. For calm serenity the first has it all.

Cheers Jan. Funnily enough I deliberately placed the reeds into the shot, its great that we don't all shoot the same way isn't it :)

I'm very happy with the shots I have from both trips as they are so very different. Its not obvious, but the water level had dropped by the 2nd visit, only 4 days later, and I could stand off the road where previously I'd have had soggy feet :D
