hey i have a camera with an automatic iso reading and im wondering is there anyway you can alter the dx code to allow you to push or pull (change the iso in essance)
?

If it's a totally automatic system with no facility to override the ISO then the only way I'm aware is to overlay the ISO bar pattern from another film canister over the one on your canister. I do know this can be done, and I'm getting this vague recollection of someone selling ISO stickers for the purpose.

If your camera has an exposure compensation dial you could set that permanently to the equivalent of the ISO speed you require?
 
What happens if you put a non DX coded canister in the camera? Do you then get the facility to set it manually?

If so, you could just put some masking tape over the coding pattern?
