Elephant Hawk Moth caterpillars are huge! This one reached a good four inches or more! But what a lovely beast!

The first time I saw one ( on my Fuchsias) I thought they really had "landed" :D

Fugly suckers close up, but very well captured Paul (y)

4 Inches ! That`s amazing . Great pics Paul , the bigger insects are ( in the U.K ) , the more I seem to like them .
 
Great set Paul that last two really are good it is amazing how small its head is compared to the rest of it.
I would like to see one
