This one was shot with my long macro set up - 300f4 and 1.4x, often useful when they are inaccessible positions, over the water and less chance of spooking
Lovely things these damsels, I like the shot but its a tad bright in places imo and maybe a crop on the right HS
Here I have the cousin to these, the "Southern green emerald" but with my eyes unless they move I have no chance of seeing them perched up inside a bush
you will know probably from seeing the southern version that they do tend to sparkle and checking the histogram it does look about right. When shooting with that background I had to shoot at -1 Ev to get it as dark as I have and toneing down any further results in loss of detail.
