Just purchased a Infrared camera to use while out and about after the main event of sunrise has passed. Dropped a bit lucky on my first trip out with it to photograph the millstones on Stanage Edge.

I photographed the sunrise as normal then wandered around with the infrared - noticed a small groups of sheep moving down the hill towards me so got a composition setup and waited.

Photo is 720nm and converted to black and white

I've only got a 720nm IR filter, but rarely used it - must try harder

Don't be disheartened - remember photography is not an Olympic sport, though it can feel like that sometimes.
