Just how does one hold a door handle without it looking completely unnatural??!Looks simple but I bet it was a difficult shot. Good concept
Very cool shot, I want to see what's outside !A bit of catch up on the one I missed

I have an absolute gazillion shots of that light house capturing it all going back 20 years, and as nice as it is I am a bit over it. I only had my 70-200mm lens with me yesterday so I thought I'd go for a tighter view.Nice looking lighthouse - and nice side light. Odd composition though.
Thanks for the feedback, i suspect you're right on the composition. I was going for a bit of framing and to make it feel more intimate.Friends, as you say you sometimes end up with too much choice, I just ask Mrs Dorset! - I'd have probably chosen the anglers, more of a story in there. The tree in the B&W shot, I get the concept but is a bit too intrusive for me.
Local - what great textures and light on that lighthouse.
The friends shot are all good.
As others have said the light in the Lighthouse shot works well.
Friends. I would have chosen the same shot too. It tells a story to me.
Local. Something a bit different to the usual wide shot of such a subject.
Thanks. I already cropped it quite a bit, but I should have probably zoomed with my legs a bit more.I think you chose the right shot for friends but maybe I would have cropped down to just the window.
Rough tree bark with a splendid pov and great natural lighting. Spot on!!
Certainly meets the theme.
Thanks, one and all! What a great tree ! Fabulous texture.
Thank you. It's nice when I get the chance to leave the house, camera in hand. Seems to happen too infrequently these days.A good mini catch-up
Thank youLove the POV on your circle shot.
And the numbers one has a lovely festive warmth to it.
Thanks. It's always the simple ones that seem more impactfulI was clinging for a while too, but you seem to be back on track....
Anyways, I also like the POV in CIRCLE. It has you looking and expecting the ball to appear. Maybe it triggers a past association to a film I have seen.....
