thanks Chris, just feel its a bit oof and not enough dof, (apart from that its not bad:)) ?
 
I wouldn't beat yourself up, it was obviously taken in bright light, separation will be tricky in those conditions,
especially as it looks like its very close to the background.
I'm on a uncalibrated lap top, just now, but it looks fine sharpen wise.
 
Really nice focus looks good to me too eyes and that area are sharp
 
thank you for the comments fellas, was bright sun on a hot day. , not easy when your right foot is in the water and left knee sliding down the bank:oops: :$
