Fuji X100F - Shutter Count

I have owned an original X100 without the shutter count facility and an X100S with it. The X100S shutter count seemed to work out at around 6 times the image number (I know that various actions other than pressing the shutter button contribute to this). I understand that for the X100T the indicated shutter count was about 1.5 times the image number so obviously, Fuji are aware of this confusing issue. So my question to all those owners of the new X100F is how does the indicated shutter count compare with the number of images taken.
 
I guess it depends on how you take your pictures. For instance if you use any bracketing including film sims each picture is recorded with its own image number. So it is possible to move the shutter count by a factor of 3 for every click.
Converting from RAW in camera will also add to image count.
 
So Trevor, would you mind telling me what your shutter count is and how many images have you taken

That's interesting Trevor - it appears that the ratio for the X100F is around 2 times. Obviously this will vary from individual to individual and depend on the number of times certain features are activated (eg playback etc) but at least it is a lot better than the X100S I had which had around 24000 shutter actuations for around 4000 images.

It's going to depend what's being counted. To take one shot involves four shutter movements - close, open, close, open. Twice as many as for a DSLR. I can't recall if the X-100 and X-Pro series bodies also close the shutter for a faster response when you switch to OVF.

So what does "shutter count" really mean?
