I’ve had a good look around the internet and can not find any information what these items I have marked in yellow x are for.
The gel filter, even though I can’t work out how they go on, I get what they are, It’s this stip of velcro and little plastic sleeve that’s baffling me

Please put me out my misery and tell me what they are for?

 
I would imagine the Velcro is for you to cut up and stick to the filters to hold them on the unit. The pouch possibly to store them in?

I'm just guessing . . .
 
Your guess is as good as mine. I can’t find anything about these accessories.
 
Not that way, turn through 90deg. Double sided velco above and below flash light, where the ce mark is andd you put a gel in between in the bitt you crossed yellow and store the rest in the outer pocket
 
Aha! See, it's easy when you know how . . . :facepalm:
 
Just found a way (right or wrong) to hold the gel there.
The built in diffuser comes down and can trap the gel.

Except when you pull the diffuser out, the head zooms to 16mm which makes the flash less useful.

Also, hundreds of events I shot professionally and never felt the need for gelling my flash.
 
I don’t understand who would want to ruin a nice looking flash with cheap looking tat.

Anyway, for those interested like I was, this is how to have tat hanging off the flash :LOL:

Being me means keeping the Velcro strip in the garage "That might come in handy draw" along with the many bits that I have not come in handy at all :D

The plastic gels will come in very handy should I ever get around to training a nest of mice to put on a lady gaga tribute act
 
Didn't get that with my new Gotox V860iii (o) flash gun, Why I have no idea. Came only with the cleaning cloth and paperwork,

Is the strip self adhesive backed? If so, it's to stick on the top and bottom of the flash head(s) to allow quick and easy mounting/removal of the gel holder.

TBF I do use a CTO / Half CTO gel quite frequently. The color ones only come out for special "creative" projects.
 
Anyone know why I cannot change the M 14mm zoom?
On the four tutorials I just watched they tap the zoom button the move the wheel to auto or whatever number you need. That doesn’t seem to work.
If I hold the zoom button down it goes into other functions, Bl, st, I’d, 43, but no option to move that m to auto or mm numbers

Just clipped in back in thanks. Bet you wish you could clip me for not reading :D
 
take it off the camera and do a reset might be a start to clear the 14mm figure or sometimes the way the angle of the flash gun head is dictates the mm range
