Often called 'Greenan Castle' but infact, it's actually a tower house, on the Ayrshire coast.

I had a lens I wanted to try out and I also need new fodder for the new club season which is approaching. I'd gone with great expectations but I bombed and came away with virtually nothing. It was a decent sunset too. Walking back to the car, this caught my eye as it was getting dark and about the best I got last night. It won't see the competitions but I like to try and make something from nothing.

To quote Wiki................

Greenan Castle is a 16th-century ruined tower house, around 2+1⁄2 miles (4 kilometres) southwest of Ayr in South Ayrshire, Scotland. Situated at the top of a sea cliff, it was originally a promontory fort converted into a motte-and-bailey in the 12th century. In the 15th century a tower house was built by the Lords of the Isles, which later passed into the hands of the Kennedy family.
