Went to see Hayseed Dixie on Friday night.
They started out a few years back playing AC/DC 'bluegrass' cover versions.
It was a great gig - if you get a chance to catch them, do!
Only downside was it finished at 10pm so they could turn the Liquid Room into a disco... boo!

I thought I'd try to get a few band shots, and tried a mixture of flash and ambient.
In the end I came away with a few shots I'm quite pleased with, but I do find this concert photography lark really quite difficult.

I saw them a couple of years ago, and you've caught the 'energy' of the band really well; especially the first one ;)

Great set of pics of a fantastic band, I've never seen them but I have a couple their CD's and they always bring a smile to my face.
 
Thanks guys. Heard their new stuff? It's excellent! I'd go see them again tomorrow.
But tomorrow they're in Norway or somewhere ;)
