Hi

Lost the lens hood today, before I order a genuine Nikon one can I ask if anyone has bought a cheap 3rd party one and if it worked okay?

Just an update, bought a used one and a non genuine one. The non genuine one was from a UK dealer off eBay and quality is good enough. Plastic does not feel as strong as the used one I bought, but both don't really stay on lens, when you twist them without pressing the clip they both come off.
