Hi, wondering if there are any Helicon users out there that can help.
Just getting into the idea of stacking macro, as a new feature on the Z8 to me., I took about 60 shots and stacked just as a test.
Following a couple of YouTube vids to help. decided to purchase Helicon as seemed to be popular and much better on memory and processing as not tying to open 60 layers like photoshop does. (beachball heaven)
I tried the default which was B - R8 - S4 - and did seem to come out okay, but still halos..
On one of the vids, it says try A, B and C, and then mix A and B with (B) process, but all were R3 and S1.
The halos are worse, but different. - see below. - 5 images ordered as above,
Just wondering if there is a magic setting to use or just a case of experimenting with settings until get a good result. Or are there good settings for certain types of shots etc.
I know I can photoshop them out after, but thinking there must be a better starting point before cloning/removing all the halos out.
TIA
