Actually I'm from Kent, which is actually London's back garden! Though I did grow up in London. Anyways....

Hi guys and gals, my name is Wes and I'm a 39 year old father of five (yes 5). I live with my wife and 3 younger children 2 of whom (my 10 yr old daughter and 11yr old son) are both as nuts about photography as I am. My 3 yr old daughter is far too busy trolling comments on YouTube (she actually just watches it lol) to do anything else. I have been into photography for approximately 6 years and two years ago made the switch from Sony to Nikon, trading all my Sony equipment (a Sony Alpha A300 and an A77 plus lenses and accessories) for a D7100 with a kit lens. For me it was the best decision I could have made as I never got on with the EVF on the Sony models and definitely prefer the optical view finder on the Nikon. It's a personal preference thing though really.
Anyways it's been a while since I've been on a forum so am glad to be back (I was, and possibly still am a member of The Ugly Hedgehog) and look forward to chatting to you all.
