Just treated myself to a Fuji X-T10 as a camera I can keep with me at all times as I travel round the country with work etc. If I can take a few shots like your one above MrDrizz I will be more than happy with my choice of camera.

Nice, but possibly looks a bit over processed. Might want lightening a bit but these kind of scenes are always tricky to edit

I haven't done that much to it really, well I don't think I have, did a grad on the sky and hit the foreground by the rock with a brush to lighten it a touch. And I always drop the highlights 100% and boost the shadow 100% as a start point.

I've dipped in and out of this image a few times to be honest...
I can't put my finger on anything, other than I keep wanting to see it again.
For that reason alone, it's a winner for me!

Thank you sir.

That could be the issue right there, I used to be guilty of the same thing, not all images need the shadows and highlights dropped that far as they can start to look unnatural. That could be why it's giving off an over processed look even if you've not much with it. If you've exposed correctly for one or the other they won't need pushed that far.

Image itself is nice, for me it looks like the sky and the foreground have been pushed a wee bit too much, it's OK to have some shadows.

I think the problem here is the foreground, overworking it has made it look quite noisy, especially the rock! I like the shot itself (nice comp) but the processing isn't doing it for me.

Appreciate the feedback guys, very informative.
I did a re-edit and didn't like the results, the original for me works.

Really like this, maybe a little bright, but that's just me.....This is a place I need to visit when I visit in September..
