Holiday Dreaming by The Big Yin, on Flickrone from the Archives - and probably one of the few "street" shots I've ever attempted, mainly because I'm crap at it - not enough empathy with people, and hate being in places where the great unwashed frequent. But, hey, it was 2010's August Subject and I'd test myself the challenge of submitting something each month...
Taken in the p***ing rain, pitch black skies and miserable people everywhere, only spot of colour and joy was the Mural in the window of a Travel Agents. And, of course, I'd got a FED-3 with Ilford FP5+ in my hand... Ran an entire roll of film sniping people as they scowled their way past the sunny vista while cowering under their Umbrellas. I of course was out in the rain getting soaked to the skin. Fortunately Russian Cameras are made of sterner stuff than I am, and the FED came through for me...
