It is a female Syrphus ribesii. Although it is normally difficult to do Syrphus to species from photographs, you caught this one just right so that the hind leg is shown nicely. It's femur is all yellow, so it is ribesii! Worth posting on the British Hoverflies facebook page with the date and location so we can get the record for the Hoverfly Recording Scheme.
