Streets are locations for the detritus of human activity. I’m sure you’ve seen some weird stuff laying about.
This dead doll struck a chord. It was in a pile of rubbish on the verge. Old books, clothing, and this rather sad looking doll. The children have grown up, moved out and the parents are changing the bedroom into a sitting room or installing a billiard table.
I had the urge to rescue the doll, clean her up and find her a new home. I’m not that sentimental, though.
