Hungry ladybird and a small blue

Right place at the right time! I suppose it's down to luck or a great deal of patience, like a lot of 'wildlife' photography.
Too right Martyn i was out for hours and got nothing worth posting i walked into the back garden and got these two shots

No offence intended, but the images look well "over saturated" to me.
As a rule, i try to show/display my images - As in, colouration/appearence etc. as the Bugs appeared to my eye (at the time of taking the pics).
Maybe, just pull back a little, on the "levels"...or maybe its your camera setting?

The butterfly is a male Common Blue........................A Small Blue butterfly (UK's smallest butterfly) is a lot smaller in size, than yours. Also , the Small Blue does not look like your image.

Edit - Ive just realized, you could be just referring to your butterfly as a small blue butterfly......rather than the species/sub species of the butterfly?
