Last month I took some photos from my friend's office. Used two cameras, Pentax K20D and Canon 500D. Lenses were Sigma 28-70 2.8 and Sigma 10-20 3.5 (Canon).

I'd agree with Steve about the last being the best. My preference would have been to have used a slightly longer focal length that would have cropped the image to just include the 2 bridges and the golden mosque on the horizon, keeping the bottom of the foreground where it is in relation to the frame.

I've never been to Istanbul, but would like to see it some time.
