Very difficult panning to catch smaller birds with the 600 F4 but after a lot of trial and error managed a couple of keepers

More room works best for me.

The wider view for me too Mick. Thought it looked a little tight around the wingtips when I saw the cropped version on Flickr

Simply stunning.
I was out photographing these same birds yesterday.
I got some blue flashes and blur.
Absolutely nothing near this quality.
