Was the rig tripod mounted, Chris? When I've tried, it's always been with a ball head and getting the bloody thing locked off accurately has never been that successful! My most recent shots were handheld and after a few shandies. Don't want to hijack your thread though.

Yes on a solid tripod with a geared head, 2 second shutter delay and silent shutter on.

Fascinating image. I've been noticing Jupiter recently but never thought of photographing it, let alone the moons. Well done.
