Not sure how this one stood on this rock, as I think I may have burnt myself kneeling on them for just a few seconds!

Not sure if it's a cricket or grasshopper - can definitely fly quite far, and dd not hear any typical noises of the legs rubbing.

Really like the first shot - I believe grasshoppers have short antennae while crickets have long antennae. So I reckon it is a grasshopper
