A few photos from the last couple of weekends when I've had spur of the moment early morning trips out to Bamford Edge, Ladybower Reservoir and Winnats Pass in the Peak District.
Sorry it's a bit photo heavy but I didn't want to faff around creating two similar threads clogging up the forum or trying to decide my favourites.

Bamford Edge/Ladybower first...

Thanks woof woof..... Yes it probably is my favourite too and backs up the saying that the best camera is the one you have with you, because I took that with my phone despite having a camera with me too. The camera was zipped up in a protective case in my pocket and I was three quarters of the way up the hill climb that you can see drops off steeply in the foreground so I was quite out of breath but just wanted to get a shot incase the mist disappeared before I got to the top.

Good stuff.

I'm using an old hand me down phone and it seems to give the best results when close to the subject and when not everything tends to look mushy. I have a new one waiting to be called into use and I'm hoping it'll be a better to take pictures with.

Lovely stuff.

Favourites have to be the first. Loving the morning mist hanging in the valley and the last. The lone figure adding a nice touch of scale.

Very nice set - you've been busy!

Just a quick observation is that some of the Winnats pass shots look a little too over-recovered - intended to be useful, rather than criticism. (y)

You are quite right ancient mariner... Some of the shots contained very dark shadows whereas some areas were bathed in sunlight so I was experimenting with the in camera hdr mode of relatively new camera, plus did probably go too far in processing with it too. No offence taken or taken as criticism, other than constructively so.
