Here's 3 steps to get you up and running:

1) Figure out how to get closer. All you need are some extension tubes, a reversing ring or a close up filter to get started. I think that extension tubes are probably the best way to go for versatility, cost and quality of images. Don't worry about buying an expensive lens just yet.

2) Sort out your lighting. You'll usually struggle for light when shooting stuff with tubes. No reason why you can't use your pop-up flash and some Blue Peter style craftiness to begin with. The diffuser I have linked to below should work fine, and have a look through the Macro Rig thread if you are not sure what to do with it..

3) Give it a whirl. You have everything you need to get started so just dive in. Read the links below for more detailed advice, but the best way to figure things out is to get stuck in then work out where you want to go from there. Explore the macro-world and enjoy yourself!

Here are some tubes (note, I don't own a Nikon, I don't know how good these ones will be, but I have some Meike tubes for my canon and they do the job. Just make sure the mount is compatible with your camera)

:agree:
All good stuff there, I too have a D3200, (last count was 57,000 clicks) I went in with a prime macro lens then a Raynox DCR250 then some tubes, It all works fine together and I got some really good shots, a Flash is a vital part of equipment, mine was off camera but if your stuck for that extra cash then use the pop-up, its there and versatile.
Good luck and don't despair, its not easy but you will get there and read the advice here, great people with great advice.
