Leuchars air show

I was at the arrivals and rehearals day yesterday which was pretty boring TBH. Normally there is a lot of activity but yesterday seemed to be very slow.
Normally I'd come home with my batteries flat and no memory cards left, yesterday I didn't even fill one card.

Wasn't able to make it to the airshow but did have the Red Arrows do a flypast over my house which was very nice of them :)

I went to St Andrews and watched from there, very windy. Hopefully I got some good pics .

Was up there myself today with a colleague. Entry price was IMO a bit steep but it was a very well organised and laid out show. There certainly was a lot of togs there, there were Canon 100-400 f/4-5.6Ls everywhere!

Aside from being blown around by the 25 knot wind, it was a great day and I was actually warm - for the first time in a month I think!

Tried out my Sigma 100-300 f/4 and wished I had the 1.4x T/C but hey ho. Will probably look through the photos tomorrow, all 540 of them - oh how continuous high rattles through them... Hopefully I'll have one decent shot out of that - "spray 'n' pray".

Thought it was rather slow this year, will get a thread up in a day or two.
