Lioness on the search

I got a few shots of this lion coming through the grass. It ended up being one of my favorite sets even though my first look at the thumbnails they didnt stand out as much as a more formal poses. Its easy to see how lions stay camouflaged amongst the dry grass.

She is certainly concentrating and as you say not the typical image.

IIRC all/many of the prey species can only see in monochrome so for them to 'see' her they need motion as well as vision to detect the threat.
