Todays set is brought to you by a lot of sweat and approximately 3000 nettle stings. Note to self - cropped trousers are a terrible idea when macro togging.

All shot with my Nikon D7000 and Tamron 90mm. Natural light or onboard flash - need to stop being lazy and sort out an off camera flash set up. Anyway - C&C and helpwith ID's always welcome.

Thanks for looking :)

That onboard flash is doing you no good at all.
1st 2 are a tad harsh with onboard flash (I assume) you could lower the blacks to help compensate this.
Last shot is the best imo, Its a mint moth btw.

Good set of macros, yes on White legged damsel fly, and the only other one is yes on the Brown Shield bug also called the Stink bug.

Nice set, the shield bug is a dock bug, Coreus marginatus.

Really like the Shield bug.

Thanks all - appreciate the comments and help with the ID's :)

Thanks Graham - although the first was without flash and the moth was with flash so perhaps it is me rather than the flash itself!
