Hi, anyone know a UK source for a 10meter canon fit e-ttl cable?

I'm not looking to try and make one from cat 5,

Hi Bob, I'm really after a straight cable. I've seen a few US sites selling them but postage is silly for what they are. :(

I'd really prefer a uk sourced cable, beat the recession and keep the cash in the country ;)

Not to mention being able to shout at someone in my native tongue if the plug falls off :D

Interfit 10m straight £54 http://www.warehouseexpress.com/buy-interfit-strobies-multi-fit-ttl-cord-10m/p1520541 Got a shoot-through foot on-camera too (y)

It's the longest I've seen. If you get one, would you be kind enough to post back that it functions 100% reliably? I heard that there were potential problems with resistance in very long cords perhaps casuing occasional issues, but I don't know much about these things. I think it's a theory that may not be born out in practise. Here's hoping :)

Tell you what..... you buy and inform me by way of a review and I won't give you a horrendous user title :D

We both use the 5d2 so your real world testing should be ideal (y)

:D

Thanks for the link though, it's good to see that $ still translate into £ :puke:

I'd be dubious of that as it states TTL and not *E*TTL.

Haha! I'd happily take a punt on it, but actually I don't need one. Yet. I'd just like to know in case I do! ;)

Should be easy and reliable remote E-TTL mastering, do most things PWs do, and a heck of a lot cheaper!

I'm sure this Flash Zebra one works fine, but why did they stop at 7.5m? http://www.flashzebra.com/products/0125/index.shtml

sorry to resurrect this thread, but did you find out if ETTL works on the TTL specified lead?

Hi Dan

I still haven't found a cable this side of the pond that I'm happy to part £ with.

The interfit cable seems to be a universal type that will fit canon and nikon , I'd much prefer a cable that just has the canon pin configuration.
