First upload on here. Hadn't been out for a while so decided to take the camera out the other day for a walk about and a few grab shots.

A Rock Pipit on the foreshore surrounded by what I believe are Kelp flies.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree, I did try various compositions but I just plumped for that one. Might have another go later. Cheers.

Couple of cropped edits as suggested. It's about as far as I could push it as some loss of IQ and artifacts are becoming evident.

I moved away from rectangular crops for the majority of my wildlife shots a couple of years or so ago. I just like a square crop better. Seems to suit the compositions better imo. Personal preference I suppose.

Cheers. Yeah, I've got into the habit of doing the square crop nearly all the time now. I just find it easier to get the, for me, right composition. Each to their own tho, there's no right or wrong. Thanks again.
