The Loup Of Fintry waterfall drops the Endrick Water approximately 90 feet. It then meanders enroute to Scotland's largest loch by surface area, Loch Lomond running through the villages of Fintry, Balfron, Killearn, Croftamie and Drymen.

Nice shot Andy, interesting colour at the top of the fall, and like that little tree silhouette to the right of the top of the fall.

That's a nice shot Andy, great comp' with some good movement in the water and pretty much spot on exposure.(y)

George.

Love the view of the falls and its movement (y) .....but I would definitely be tempted to crop a little sky and some of the left side snow and also reduce the colour of the water at the top of the falls as, for me, it stands out a little too much. I've also added a little clarity and colour to the sky after losing the more colourful section but that doesn't translate very well on the screengrab I was working on! A slight exposure lift to finish and you get something like this:

Feel free to tell me to 'foxtrot oscar' and I'll happily delete the image.... :)

Thanks for the replies..(y)

No probs at all Mike with your edit I prefer it. I took a very similar crop and uploaded to my flickr. I was unsure about the original having too much sky and too much foreground space on the left boulder in particular!

The sun starts to set in mid February in the top left of the frame but I have yet been able to combine snow and a decent sunset. The sun doesn't set in the far end of the glen till August.
