A wonderful set of macro insects Alf. The butterfly with the 14-42 is pretty impressive

Agree a good selection of bugs and the bonus 2nd Moth is in fact a Caddis fly possibly Limnephilus lunatus.

A good selection Alf, my fav being the Orange Tip. ;)

Thanks Paul

The little 14-42mm EZ is a nice lens

I reckon that Caddis fly is indeed a Limnephilus lunatus based on the shot I got first but didnt like the composition as it has a half moon at the end of the wing.

Well done on the spider - they are very tricky with those parasites. I would really love to photograph a caddis fly nymph but I don't think I get them in my pond.

More super shots Alf, the caterpillar will grow into a yellowtail moth.

Cracking sets Alf. (y)

All my bugs seem to have errr buggered off, for some reason.
just a few spiderlings and the odd ladybird.

Once the lavender breaks out, I'm hoping the bees will be back as usual though.

That parasite shot was thrown out of a insects group because it was of a spider:thinking:

Thanks Alby and thanks for the ID
