Marsh Harrier fly-past at Pett Level, East Sussex on Friday. Spoke to a guy there that said there was a Black Kite a few days before, that stayed for a couple of days!

As usual, all critique welcome.

Lovely shot Wez, looks good viewed on Flickr (y)

I've struggled getting detail with Marsh harriers, probably down to distance and heavy crops.

What gear you using these days?

Thanks Phil, just trying to work out how to put it on this thread rather than embedded to Flickr :headbang:

Still using my Sony A1 with the 200-600 but did buy a 400mm 2.8 but wasn't that impressed with it so sent it back. Awful lot of money to spend if you're not sure of it. I use my gear for football as well, so the heat haze was really prominent with the 400mm. I'm going to buy the new 300mm 2.8 at some point, as they take a 2x tc well, just like my 70-200 2.8 mkii. So I'm thinking that'll be just the right range that I need.

How are you doing these days? Still using the D500?
