I was hoping that the cooler, cloudier weather on Wednesday would make photographing butterflies a bit easier, and I wasn't disappointed! Yatt's Farm, near Pickering is one of the best N. Yorkshire butterflies sites, and at this time of year is full of Marbled Whites. They like to rest on slender grass stems, so even the slightest breeze can be a problem, but a bit of patience paid off!
