Here's a few shots I took on Saturday made a change from shooting motorsport did mainly head shots due to some people wearing bright green wrist bands.

I love the guy with pipe!

Excellent shot. (y)

An excellent set, though Mr US Airborne in #3 is a little confused, he appears to be using an MP40 ;).

Lovely set of images I really like the sympathetic processing that you have undertaken.

For me the best of the group are

3 , 5 and 6

In three I love the pose and sense of what's going to happen next... Like the dof as well.

In six I love the sense of "sh!t has hit the fan lets get out of here"

And number 5 I love the out of focus aw and the light captured within the image and the fact the whole face is razor sharp.

Some great shots there. Faves are 3 & 6. Really capture the scene.

Thanks very much

Thanks shame I never caught the flame as someone walked across the shot

Great shots, and I love the processing on these :)

Thanks glad you like the pp first time I have tried this.

The MG42 was a fierce weapon, Hitlers buzzsaw , lovely shots :) .

Thanks very much

Thanks for comment no history expert myself so would never have known the MP40 was a German gun maybe he had took it off a dead German as part of the show as I had a look online re this gun and it was known for allied troops to take these from the Germans as they were lighter and more accurate than the guns they were issued with.

Thanks a lot as said above this type of pp was a first time effort I only use the basic software that came with my Windows 7 I tried reducing the saturation which gave them a vintage feel then adding some contrast to bring out the age lines in the faces which worked well in 7
