Mount Colour

Afternoon all,

Just wanted your opinions and inputs

having done a few framed prints/pictures now I am wondering if you get asked for various colours of mount?

done a few in Ivory and loads in white but wondered if there was anything else to keep an eye out for that looks nice

seen a pic a while ago and black looked ok, does that go? or is there anything else to keep an eye out for?

I normally match the colour of the mount to the content of the picture, i.e. if I mount a portrait I choose one similar to match or best suits what the subject is wearing.
It does mean I have a lot of different colour sheets of card laying around but I don't mind that. I have even driven miles to get the colour I needed.

Never cut my own mounts TBH, only ever bought them in, may give some black ones ago if I can find something to test them with
