My First Red Deer - Bradgate Park

I went to Bradgate Park this morning to try to shoot my first Deer, C&C or advice welcome.

This is the winner for me! Great colours, and a great natural framing. Superb detail too!

Canon 40d and a 70-200 f4 non-IS on a monopod. Difficult to get a sharp shot in the low light. I had to use quite high ISO and heavy Photoshop noise reduction, but I think they came out OK.

First one looks like a Fallow to me with the palmated antlers, the last shot of the Red Hind is superb.

Been Bradgate many times,all very nice shots but I like the first and last the best.
