Every type of Photography takes me about 12 minutes per image maximum. Usually I can edit and be done with an image in 4 minutes manual, seconds with "actions" or profiles/presets etc.
I thought I'd provide examples.
This woman gave me a screen shot of her phone's desktop picture. She lost the original Photograph. She said she wanted all people removed but the girl. Her daughter. It took me 10 minutes to finish. I exaggerated and said it took me an hour
Original image is attached. And the finished image is under it obviously. If you zoom in you can see some artifacts I did not remove. She was very happy with the result.
The next edit is of my own photography. A local cafe. I took ten pictures at different ev and shutter speeds. First image is two images combined manually in photoshop. I used a mask for the outside image with the inside image. Interior/exterior. Whatever.
This took me 5 minutes and 13 seconds. I timed myself with a digital stop watch.
The next image took me a bit longer. 10 minutes. I combined all ten images and tone mapped. Then I added another image with the exterior properly exposed and masked that in, I had to use the pen tool to get an exact line near the windowsill, that took some skilled clicking at a fast pace, a to b to c to d to e Then I applied the "color graded" effect and exported to jpg.
This literally took me 5 minutes. Clone tool. Color grading. Masking.
Bride had no class to her wedding photographs. She wanted to be removed and placed in a picture with class. I thought Princess but modern. Wealthy but not fairy tale.
Do you notice that the tree's overhead are casting a shadow in the shape of leaves on her wedding dress? That's me. I did that.
Sometimes couples are so cheap that they use camera's or phones with resolutions that are lower then SD television. That's 480x480 pixels. try 340 x...
Here's a couple. Bride was not happy with people in background. One woman looks like she's eating the mic. A kid doesn't look like he's enjoying himself. She said remove them all. I masked them out, cut them out. I added a single color adjustment layer below my original layer. It left these black cut outs. Then I color graded and added some stuff. This took me 4 minutes. And I delivered. She was super happy. I out did her expectations.
