Hi, I am new to TalkPhotography and I was just wondering if anybody would be willing to give me an insight into how things work and the best forums to visit. If anybody also has the time, it would be great if I could get some critique on my website - jschofieldphotography.weebly.com and my instagram - jamieschofieldphotography .. I am a 19 year old studying photojournalism and documentary photography at the university of Gloucestershire. Thanks!

Hi Jamie, And welcome aboard TP."Enjoy".

Hi & welcome to the forums mate (y)

I'd say you've started the right way via this welcome section of the forum, I'd recommend just pitching in & looking at the different sections that interest you - don't be shy about posting some shots for critique (a lot of people won't bother to click links to websites so you'd probably get better insight by posting some actual pics here)

As for critique on your site, I didn't have chance for an in depth look but I would say that you may need to kick up your exposures a tad as a lot of them look underexposed (most of the dog shots in the commercial section could do with a brighten up imo. And Freelance is all one word - bit of a nitpick but it's your first page so it doesn't look too professional if there are spelling mistakes (not being an arse, just trying to help (y) )

Look forward to seeing you around the forum (y)
