Continuing with my edits - again - all feedback welcome and encouraged, as I've not really delved into portrait photography properly before...

Hi Dan

First tip I'd say is you can't do a straight BW conversion with babies. They've got a lot of oranges, yellows and red in their skin and you need to look at those separately. That'll make a world of difference to your BW conversions. Play with the sliders and you'll see what I mean. HTH.

Thanks - I've had a little play around so far and see big tone differences on her face already...

Well I've made some further adjustments based on your advice - have a poor monitor on a very small laptop, but hoping they've proved beneficial...
