I can't seem to find many spec about this camera so I thought about asking here :)

I'm wondering if it has autofocus built-in, and if it can take lenses without the aperture ring? Like ''g'' lenses?

Also does it uses the classic nikon Li-Ion batteries, or it takes AA batteries?

And I'm also wondering if I should probably keep my money and invest on a f100 or a F5 instead? Second hand F5 are still quite cheap for a pro-grade camera !

Thanks a lot !

The F80 (as known in the UK) is a great camera. To answer your question - it can use the G lenses - I think it was often sold as a kit with 1 or 2 of them.

They're pretty well built but also quite light and portable. Allow you to spot meter, change focus point etc.

Not as tough or well-specced as a F5 but definitely lighter and smaller and cheaper to buy.

Cheers
