Olympus film camera repairs

Hi all,

A work colleague has approached me this morning wanting to know if there were any camera shops local to me which might carry out repairs to his old Olympus film camera. I said I don't think so as the only store local is Jessops!

I suggested that there might be an Olympus authorised repairer he could send the camera away to but not sure who this might be...........anyone know if there is an official Olympus repairer about?

You could try http://www.lehmannsdirect.co.uk/ as they do camera reapirs. The problem is as with most older cameras is getting parts for them.

Thanks for the replies. I passed the chap both names - I believe he's had some positive responses from Lehmanns so will send the camera off to them shortly.
