Well it is a bee probably male (less hairy which is for collecting pollen) and likely to an Andrena SP https://www.bwars.com/species_list

Quite nicely shot have you tried reducing the highlights in PP the first is better exposed
what sort of diffusion do you use?

i have a canon ring flash with some bits micropore surgical tape on tubes.

What kind of spider is that? And how big is it? I've never seen one of those, and I'm about half an hour away from you!

I am not sure the name of the spider type, It was a wee thing, body about 3-4mm long.

Wrong eye shape and no antennae so not a Hymenoptera (bees wasps ants and sawflies)
It is a hover fly btw
