I have this jet wash. I bought about 5 years ago. When I bought mine I must have bought the cheaper model has it didn’t come with that patio rotary brush.
Does anyone know if you can buy a universal fitting one of these patio cleaners or do they make them so they only fit their model?

The fitting looks very like my Karcher's.

I agree it looks like the standard K'archer fitment - but you won't know until you try plugging one in to your extension lance - unless someone somewhere has already tried it and put it somewhere on the net. I have the exact thing you're looking for in my dad's garage ready to sell :) If only you happened to be in South Wales :)

I've got a Karcher with the circular patio cleaner. I also have the jet lance, the one that twirls. The same as the one in your image that has the larger cone shape on the end.
The jet lance is much better at cleaning imo.
The only advantage the circular one has is less mess on yer wellies....

Agree 100%. I think they are pretty rubbish in reality. I just use the lance now.

I just done a once over this afternoon. It’s ok but I thought the rotary ones would be better for some reason. Not bothered about a soaking, I just shower after as I get covered in winter grime that’s on the patio.

I used to use a karcher but ended up destroying the impeller twice.. I used to clean my off road vehicle with it after each event & that killed it...

Bought a Wolf version from Lidl about 5 years ago and its been excellent (and cheap 80 ish )- also came with the patio head & that works damm well. I wouldn't buy another K....

Leaves pretty swirls in the dirt unless you spend ages going over the patio/path! MUCH faster and more effective to use the lance, even when a shower and a load of laundry are taken into account!

The amount of negatives about these things doesn’t bode well

A positive from me!

I use the rotary one because I hate having to wash down walls and clean glass when I have finished. With care there is very minimal mess (apart from the water!) If it takes a bit longer I don't care as I am mostly being paid for it and I get used in preference to the gung-ho lance guys!

Yes, that is very true.
It is near impossible to judge performance based purely on web comments. End results will depend a lot on how bad the soiling is. Sometimes soiling can be beyond recovery.

One eyebrow lifted again lol

The Lance brings up/removes a lot of the winter grime. I was hoping those rotary things were just as good without me taking a grime splatter.
What I do need to do is get some good lichen patio cleaner (if there is such a thing)

there is - its called Hydrocloric acid..... lol

The lance is better imo..I had a rotary for the Karcher and got frustrated because I couldnt' see if the patio brick was clean before moving on. The lance,as already mentioned, does make a mess and can throw water up at you and onto windows if the jet hits between bricks .

What are you planning to do with those?

Clean the patio. Probably not with heavy duty stuff as I’m no chemical expert, but with mixed ready made stuff. For example (from what I’ve seen) wet and leave.

looks like it would fit.

Thanks, but if I was to spend that much on one part I would buy a whole new kit :) HERE

This might be worth reading....

Thanks. A good read for a novice like me.

On Sodium hypochlorite,He also *strongly* recommends using a face mask, goggles, rubber gloves and wellingtons. he says, "I use it neat, pouring with a plastic watering can.
Key points under that, is says, do not use neat :p

The other interesting bit is Reindeer like a nibble of lichen. Now where can I buy some Reindeer :D

Steaks, mince, stewing or a roasting joint? Easiest in Scandinavia but I expect Santa's got a few going spare - saves him having to feed them in the down time.

Collection only from Santa..... if I could leave my local area to get them I’d be up there in a shot :D

ok, what would be best. A big bucket and a stiff brush THIS
Or a sprayer pump and let it be THIS

Honestly, youre doing quite a lot of overthinking about this - lol...
If you have a pressure washer - use that first. Then depending on outcome, and if required buy some patio cleaner.
I have about 6 of those tubs and you can mix in those - got mine from wickes. Wouldn't bother with the sprayer - just use a bucket and yard brush..

Trust me, no overthinking here lol.
I have cleaned it and got a good soaking as I do every year with the pressure washer.
I was wondering if the rotary ones would be a good investment. It seems they don’t do as good a job as the lance.
So, whilst talking about how clean a jet wash can get a patio, I’ve read it cleans, but won’t clean it all (like lichen).
so how do I clean that? With stuff that the skin doesn’t like.. ahhh, so a cheap sprayer might be of help. When you can get one sold by Amazon for 12 quid yes.
The skin melting James Bond chemical? eBay seller/company that deals with large amount of different chemicals. Ha the price of Amazon sellers.
So, no overthink, just good old fashion asking for help and once again the good people of TP step in and help :)

Purchase a Karcher DIRT BLASTER, you cant go wrong.
However, match the model to the pressure washers capacity.
