Found our first Ladybird Larvae in the garden after work today, taken at macro 5x, little beast is 2-3mm long, sorry for the lighting I'm still trying a few ideas out.

We're over run on Aphids, not seen any ladybirds since March, but seeing this one put a smile on my face.
I'm sure they'll appear soon, I'm in east anglia so may be a week or so ahead on temps etc than your area??

I have been over run for years with aphids, last year I bought 100 larvae,
They had a field day
It looks like they didn't stray to far, either, no aphids again so far, touch wood anyway

I have thought about introducing more, I think I will look into getting some.

Glad it worked, if they all survived and over wintered in your patch, that's going to be one busy garden this season
